Madison Highland Prep offers school bus service within our pick-up and drop-off range, plus Valley Metro transit cards for students who live outside it.
School bus service
We run a school bus with assigned stops inside our pick-up and drop-off range. Request a stop using the transportation form below. Every rider boards with a valid student ID and follows the bus rules.

Valley Metro transit cards
Valley Metro transit cards are available for students who reside outside of the school bus pick-up and drop-off range. Transit cards require approval and a parent permission form before being issued. Approved students will receive a transit card to ride to school and to return home.
Bus rules
Violation of the bus rules will result in a behavioral referral to the principal and could lead to suspension of bus privileges.
- 1Student ID is required for boarding the bus. Access will be denied to students without a valid student ID.
- 2Respect the driver, other passengers, and their property.
- 3Follow directions immediately when asked.
- 4All students must remain in their assigned seats.
- 5Talk quietly and keep hands to yourself.
- 6Be courteous. Use of profanity, vulgar language, or obscene gestures is not allowed.
- 7No food, beverages, or gum on the bus (water is okay).
- 8Remain in your seat until the bus comes to a complete stop.
- 9Students will only be allowed to exit the bus at their assigned stop, no exceptions.
- 10Parents need to call the office for a student to be dropped off at a different stop.
- 11Keep all parts of your body inside the bus.
- 12No littering or destruction of the bus.
- 13Personal belongings shall be under the passenger's control at all times.
- 14No hats are allowed to be worn or displayed while on the bus.
- 15All school rules apply while on the school bus.
