Nicole Gomez , Science Faculty
For the past four years, Ms. Gomez has focused on teaching science to both college and high school students primarily in Human Anatomy and Physiology and Physics. Ms. Gomez, born and raised in Dominican Republic, holds a Bachelors of Science in Biology with an emphasis in Animal Behavior and Physiology from Arizona State University, and worked towards a Masters degree in Integrative Biology with an emphasis in Neuroendocrinology at the University of California, Los Angeles and California State University, Los Angeles. Her thesis focused on researching the neural circuitry behind learning and memory in birds and its correlation with high cognitive foraging techniques. Ms. Gomez ultimately wants to earn an MD/PhD in Neuroscience sometime in the near future.
